*Below is the Order of Service for PAC's 2025 Good Friday Service. Also, here is the link to the playlist, as many of these songs will be unfamiliar!*
Call to Worship:
In his head he suffered from the crown of piercing thorns; in his hands and feet, from the driven nails; on his face from the blows and spittle; and over his entire body from the lashes of the whip. Moreover, he suffered in all his bodily senses: in touch, by being scourged and nailed; in taste, by being given vinegar and gall to drink; in smell, by being nailed to the cross in a place reeking with the stench of corpses, “which is called Calvary”; in hearing, by being tormented with the cries of blasphemers and scorners; in sight, by beholding the tears of his mother and the disciple whom he loved.

Recite: Nicene Creed & Prayer
We believe in one God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible.
And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all worlds; God of God, Light of Light, very God of very God; begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father, by whom all things were made; who, for us humans and for our salvation, came down from heaven, and was incarnate by the Holy Spirit of the virgin Mary, and was made man; and was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate; he suffered and was buried; and the third day he rose again, according to the Scriptures; and ascended into heaven, and sits on the right hand of the Father; and he shall come again, with glory, to judge the living and the dead; whose kingdom shall have no end.
And we believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord and Giver of Life; who proceeds from the Father and the Son; who with the Father and the Son together is worshiped and glorified; who spoke by the prophets. And we believe in one holy catholic and apostolic church. We acknowledge one Baptism for the remission of sins, and we look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.
Benediction:
Merciful God, creator of all the peoples of the earth and lover of souls: Have compassion on all who do not know you as you are revealed in your Son Jesus Christ; let your Gospel be preached with grace and power to those who have not heard it; turn the hearts of those who resist it; and bring home to your fold those who have gone astray; that there may be one flock under one shepherd, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Doxology & Dismissal:
Praise God from Whom all blessings flow; praise Him all creatures here below; praise Him above ye heavenly host; praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Amen.
